Scotland

Stuart farms in the highlands of Scotland, where he runs Aberdeen Angus hill cows and Highlander cross bred ewes. After spending 14 years in New Zealand, Stuart and his wife Sally decided to return to Scotland with their young family. They owned a coastal North Island station of 2,100 hectares, stocked with 4,500 breeding ewes and 300 cows, as well as pedigree Texels and Hereford cattle. In conjunction to the breeding block a series of finishing farms were also rented, with an annual throughput of up to 30,000 lambs and 1200 finishing cattle. Stuart has been back in the UK for two years and joined innovis in 2013. He is busy building the business in Scotland.
