Declan Marshall

Technical Advisor

South West of England

Declan brings a new knowledge base to the team, with a strong educational background as well as a vast practical background. Declan graduated from Exeter university with a Masters degree in Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture and therefore understands the pressures and constraints of the farming industry as a whole. This knowledge was furthered while working with the NFU providing comprehensive advice to farmers, specialising in TB. Declan has farmed all his life and continues to have an active involvement with his family farm business. The farm is well established in North Devon and farms both sheep and cattle. In 2008/9 the farm changed their Suffolk Cross mules to Highlanders and are continually seeing improved results.
